As salaamu alaykum. Welcome to the official webside of the mosque Islamschule Merzig e.V. from the Saarland (Germany). We are a community of muslims of various nations from the district of Merzig and Saarlouis, but also from all over the Saarland.
We bid welcome also all non/muslims who have questions about Islam and want to find out more about it. On this new webpage you can find a lot of information about who we are and what we do. Feel free to ask or visit us. Enjoy!
The Islamschule Merzig e.V. is an independent mosque in the Saarland and was found in 2010. Since 2012 we reside in our current building we are about to expand. Inasmuch as we live in Germany we have considered it our duty to preach and teach this beautiful religion in German. That is why mainly German is talked in our mosque, but also Arabic. Some of us speak English. So do not worry about communication.
We want to foster a peaceful coexistence with all muslims and non-muslims as well. Every event can be attended for free and voluntarily. We do not mind any visit or question in a decent manner. We are keen on responding to your questions.

Even though all these lessons etc. are in German (and Arabic), there would not be any problem if you asked for an English one - or any other language. We are multilingual and can arrange it, God willing.
